About the author:
Steve Cavanagh is a critically acclaimed, award-winning author of the Eddie Flynn series and lawyer. His third novel, The Liar, won the CWA Gold Dagger for Crime Novel of the year 2018. He is also one half of the Two Crime Writers and a Microphone podcast. His latest novel, Thirteen, is out now.

My Review:
I have one word to describe Twisted:
Brilliant.
Is that a long enough review for you? No? Then I’ll try to put my incoherent thoughts into words for you.
Omg, what can I say that hasn’t already been said about this mindboggingly brilliant book? Twisted certainly lived up to its name and deserves every one of the gushing reviews I’ve seen leading up to its publication. I was thrilled to be invited to take part in the blog tour for this book and I’m happy to say it more than lived up to my expectations.
Every time I thought I’d worked it all out, I suddenly realised that no I really, really hadn’t. In fact, as I sat there feeling all smug at my amazing detective skills, I was blindsided by yet another twist that made me literally shout out loud. I don’t think I’ve ever turned the air quite so blue while reading a book before! Wtf?! How?! Why? Wha?! No! This is a total mindf**k! Holy crap! And those are just the tame ones.
Steve Cavanagh has written an insanely clever and well crafted book, with twists and turns that come out of nowhere. At first I was thinking I don’t get what all the fuss is about… and then bam! What the actual f**k? This book is genius!
Twisted is twistier than a pretzel, with curveballs coming at you from all directions. I thought I had it all worked out and then realised I most definitely hadn’t. Not even a little bit.
To say any more would do a disservice to this brilliant book, as the less you know about it going in the better. I’m so glad I got to read it without knowing anything about it other than the blurb!
An outstanding and mind blowing thriller that deserves all the stars I could possibly give it. And I don’t even give stars. It really is that good!
