Mini #BookReview – #AnEvilMind by Chris Carter #RobertHunter Book 6 @simonschusterUK

Today I’m sharing something a little bit different on my blog by posting a mini review of An Evil Mind by Chris Carter, which is book six in the Robert Hunter series.

I’ve been meaning to read this series for a long time now as I’ve heard so many wonderful (and terrifying!) things about it, so when I was invited to take part in the blog tour for Hunting Evil, book 10 in the series (released today) I jumped at the chance. But then I realised that the latest book is a follow on to An Evil Mind, so I knew I just had to read that one first!

I already had the book to hand as I’d recently taken advantage of a sale on Amazon and had bought the whole collection, so all it needed was for me to open my Kindle and begin reading.

So here is my mini review of An Evil Mind.

About the book:

A freak accident in rural Wyoming leads the Sheriff’s Department to arrest a man for a possible double homicide, but further investigations suggest a much more horrifying discovery – a serial killer who has been kidnapping, torturing and mutilating victims all over the United States for at least twenty-five years.

The suspect claims he is a pawn in a huge labyrinth of lies and deception – and he will now only speak to Detective Robert Hunter

About the author:

Mini Review:

First of all, why has it taken me so long to start reading these books?! I was on the edge of my seat throughout, with the tension rising with every page I read. Nail biting and chilling, this is a psychological thriller that delves into the mind of a serial killer with aplomb.

Gruesome and spine tingling, I loved this book (and its sequel) and now can’t wait to go back and read all the books from the very beginning.

In Robert Hunter I have a feeling I’ve discovered a new favourite male detective to follow. And I think I’m going to enjoy getting to know this fascinating character. But I also know that I’m going to be terrified to find out what other horrors Chris Carter has in store for me!

Brilliantly written and full of suspense, this is a book I would highly recommend.

An Evil Mind by Chris Carter is published by Simon & Schuster and is available to buy now: Amazon UK

Look out for my review of Hunting Evil as part of the blog tour tomorrow!
