What a gorgeous, heartwarming and uplifting festive read this is! A must read for anyone who loves a Christmas themed story, A Wedding in December by Sarah Morgan has everything anyone could possibly want from a feel good story this festive season.
Rosie is getting married to Dan against the beautiful backdrop of Aspen, the perfect setting for a winter wedding. Her sister, Katie, is worried that Rosie has rushed headlong into a wedding she isn’t ready for, and their parents, Maggie and Nick are hiding a huge secret of their own: they’re on the brink of divorce. Add to that Rosie’s sudden doubts and Katie’s growing attraction to best man Jordan and we have the perfect recipe for a Christmas story that will keep you enthralled from beginning to end.
Sarah Morgan has skilfully woven together a tale that brings these wonderful characters vividly to life. A Wedding in December is very much a character driven story that explores the multifaceted nature of family and how we should always make time for those important relationships in our lives that mean the most to us.
It’s a truly lovely tale that would make the perfect Christmas movie, with memorable characters and an emotional storyline that will tug at your heartstrings. The perfect book to enjoy as we head into the festive season, I loved this lovely, heartwarming story and can’t recommend it highly enough.
