I’m thrilled to welcome you today to my stop on the blog tour for Dead Wrong, the second book in Noelle Holten’s brilliant police procedural series featuring Maggie Jamieson. Thank you to Sarah Hardy and One More Chapter for giving me the opportunity to read and review this fabulous book.

The serial killer is behind bars. But the murders are just beginning…
DC Maggie Jamieson’s past comes back to haunt her in this dark and gripping serial killer thriller.
Three missing women running out of time…
They were abducted years ago. Notorious serial killer Bill Raven admitted to killing them and was sentenced to life.
The case was closed – at least DC Maggie Jamieson thought it was…
But now one of them has been found, dismembered and dumped in a bin bag in town.
Forensics reveal that she died just two days ago, when Raven was behind bars, so Maggie has a second killer to find.
Because even if the other missing women are still alive, one thing’s for certain: they don’t have long left to live…

My Review:
I didn’t think it would be possible for Noelle Holten to write a book any better than the first book in her impressive new police procedural series, but with Dead Wrong she has done so with ease. A fantastic thriller that keeps you on your toes throughout, this second book in the series sees DC Maggie Jamieson return just as her past is about to come back and haunt her.
Notorious serial killer Bill Raven is behind bars after confessing to the murders of three women. But now one of the victims has been found, dismembered and dumped in a bin bag. And there’s a huge problem: she was only murdered two days ago, which means Bill Raven couldn’t possibly be the one who killed her. So now Maggie and her team find themselves on the hunt for a second killer, which throws up another even more important question. What if the other two missing women are still alive?
What follows is a fast paced, exciting and heartstopping race against time to find the missing women before it’s too late. Noelle Holten has written yet another thrilling story that will keep you reading long into the night, drawing on her own extensive knowledge of the criminal system to deliver a book that is as believable as it is exciting. In Maggie Jamieson she has created a strong female character who you can’t help but admire, and I can’t wait to learn even more about her in future installments of this brilliant police procedural series.
I love everything about this series! With a memorable cast of supporting characters and a story that draws you in from the very first page, this is a crime thriller that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Dead Wrong works very well as a standalone, but is so good you’ll want to rush out and buy its predecessor as soon as you’ve turned the last page!
A fantastic and exciting read that I adored!
