About the book:

Meet old and new characters in the Bay for Christmas fun and frolics.
With both the Corner Shop and Cockleberry Café in safe hands, Rosa turns her attention to Ned’s Gift, the charity set up in memory of the great-grandfather whose legacy turned her life around.
Over at the Ship Hotel, Lucas has his work cut out with his devious new girlfriend and the mystery poisoning of an anonymous hotel inspector. Will the hotel still get its 3-star Seaside Rosette?
Will Mary find true love at last? Can Titch cope with the demands of the shop and being heavily pregnant. And can Rosa, with a baby of her own, pull off the Cockleberry Bay Charity Christmas Concert in time?
Christmas in Cockleberry Bay is a festive delight for fans of Rosa and her cheeky mini dachshund Hot, delivering a feast of unpredictable events and surprises.

My Review:
Christmas in Cockleberry Bay by Nicola May is a very welcome festive return to the heartwarming world of Cockleberry Bay. With characters both old and new, it is the perfect read to warm the cockles of your heart this Christmas.
Reading a book by Nicola May feels like being enveloped in a warm, comforting hug. There is something so comforting about her writing and she brings these memorable characters vividly to life, so much so that they feel more like old friends than fictional characters, staying with you long after the final page has been turned.
So what could be better than to put aside the worries of the day, settle down and lose yourself in the magical world of Cockleberry Bay? All of the old favourite are here including Rosa, Titch and the always delightful Hot, the cheeky mini dachshund who stole my heart in the brilliant Cockleberry Bay Trilogy. As always I was soon caught up in the lives, loves and friendships of the residents of Cockleberry Bay, feeling almost bereft as the lovely, uplifting festive tale came to an end.
I love everything about these books. Pure escapism at its very best, Christmas in Cockleberry Bay instantly transports you to the bay we know and love, only this time its full of festive cheer as the community pull together to make this a Christmas to remember! With plenty of surprises along the way, Nicola May has written yet another delightful tale that is full of the warmth and humour I’ve come to expect from this talented author.
Christmas in Cockleberry Bay is a wonderful addition to the series and is a book I would highly recommend. The perfect Christmas read!
