#BlogTour – #BookReview of #AndNowYoureBack by @JillMansell @headlinepg @RandomTTours #RandomThingsTours

For my second post of the day I’m delighted to welcome you to my stop on the blog tour for the wonderful And Now You’re Back by Jill Mansell. Thank you to Anne Cater and Headline for giving me the opportunity to read and review this lovely book.

About the book:

One magical winter’s night in Venice, Didi fell in love. But it ended – and he left without even saying goodbye. Now, thirteen years on, Shay Mason is back.

The old spark is still there, but Didi’s determined to ignore it. As manager of a stunning Cotswolds hotel, she’s happy at last, and soon to be married. Anyway, Shay isn’t staying. He’s made a promise to his father. He’s going to keep it. And then he’ll be gone.

But Shay’s return stirs up long-forgotten emotions, and the scandal that led him to leave raises its head once again. It’s time for buried secrets to come to light. And it seems that this was someone’s intention all along . . .

From the beloved author of IT STARTED WITH A SECRET comes a fabulous new novel about love, friendship and finding the way to your best life.

About the author:

Jill Mansell’s books are full of love, life and friendship and have been bringing joy to readers for twenty-five years. She started writing fiction while working in the NHS, after joining a local creative writing class. She has since written over twenty Sunday Times bestsellers, including MAYBE THIS TIME, THIS COULD CHANGE EVERYTHING and YOU AND ME, ALWAYS, and her books have sold over 11 million copies around the world.

Jill’s hobbies include buying stationery, particularly magical new colours of ink for the fountain pen she uses to write all her books – Jill is one of the few authors who still write their books by hand. Jill also loves people-watching and finding new characters to put in her novels. So when you’re out, make sure to always be on your best behaviour. And beware of beady-eyed authors carrying notebooks . . .

My Review:

And Now You’re Back by Jill Mansell is a heartwarming feel good read that’s pure escapism at its very best. Beautifully written, it’s full of the humour and warmth we’ve come to expect from this talented author. The perfect read for summer, I enjoyed every moment of this fabulous new novel.

Thirteen years ago Didi fell in love. But when it ended he left without even saying goodbye. And now Shay Mason is back… and so is the old spark. Happy with her life as it is, Didi is determined to ignore the flutter in her heart at Shay’s return. She’s now the manager of a stunning Cotswolds hotel and is soon to be married. But Shay’s return stirs up old memories and long buried secrets begin to rise to the surface once again. As emotions run high can Didi ignore the feelings she once had for this man? Or is there more to his story that is yet to be uncovered?

And Now You’re Back is an uplifting read about love and friendship that captures your heart from the very first page. With larger than life characters and a story set against the stunning backdrop of the Cotswolds, this is the perfect book to curl up with at the end of a long day. Jill Mansell is an author at the top of her game who just keeps on going from strength to strength. I loved this book and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a lovely gentle read to escape with this summer. Simply gorgeous!
