I’m excited to welcome you today to my stop on the blog tour for incredible psychological thriller Psychopaths Anonymous by Will Carver. Thank you to Anne Cater and Orenda Books for giving me the opportunity to read and review this wonderful book.
About the book:

When AA meetings make her want to drink more, alcoholic murderess Maeve sets up a group for psychopaths.
Maeve has everything. A high-powered job, a beautiful home, a string of uncomplicated one-night encounters. She’s also an addict: a functioning alcoholic with a dependence on sex and an insatiable appetite for killing men.
When she can’t find a support group to share her obsession, she creates her own. And Psychopaths Anonymous is born.
Friends of Maeve.
Now in a serious relationship, Maeve wants to keep the group a secret. But not everyone in the group adheres to the rules, and when a reckless member raises suspicions with the police, Maeve’s drinking spirals out of control. She needs to stop killing. She needs to close the group. But Maeve can’t seem to quit the things that are bad for her, including her new man…
Will Carver returns with the electrifying and original Psychopaths Anonymous, a scathing, violent and darkly funny thriller about love, connection, obsessions and sex – and the aspects of human nature we’d prefer to hide.

My Review:
Psychopaths Anonymous is the latest stunning thriller by critically acclaimed author Will Carver. A shockingly dark and funny tale, this is a book that had me gripped from the very first page and didn’t let go until the final thrilling page had been turned.
Meet Maeve. Attractive, successful and with a string of uncomplicated one night stands, she is a woman who appears to have everything. But she’s also an addict: a functioning alcoholic with a dependency on sex and a penchant for killing men. So when she can’t find a support group that shares her obsession, she decides to create her own. And so Psychopaths Anonymous is born.
Maeve is one of those characters you know you should hate but you can’t help but fall in love with. As terrible as she is (and she really is), there is something so inherently and deliciously human about her that makes her a sheer delight to get to know. And oh my goodness, how I loved her! She’s a dark and murderous psychopath, but one that’s so believable and real you find yourself rooting for her even when her actions should instantly repel you.
Will Carver has done it yet again. Psychopaths Anonymous is a violent, dark and original thriller that’s as funny as it is shocking. I don’t want to say much more for fear of giving something away, so all I will say is that this book is sheer brilliance from beginning to end. I can’t get enough of this author and his scathing and thought provoking insight into all aspects of human nature. What more can I say? An absolutely stunning novel that I would highly recommend. I loved it!
