For my second post of the day I’m delighted to welcome you to my stop on the blog tour for the beautiful and moving 12 Hours to say I Love You by Olivia Poulet and Laurence Dobiesz. Thank you to Anne Cater and Headline for giving me the opportunity to read and review this wonderful book..
About the book:

Two people. One love story. 12 hours to tell it.
Whir, beep, click, breath. Whir, beep, click, breath.
Pippa Gallagher is rushed in to hospital following a traffic accident. As Pippa lies unconscious, she is aware of fragments. The day she met Steve Gallagher, her best friend and the man who would become the love of her life. The heartbreak she felt that night as she got into her car, her eyes blurry from tears.
Meanwhile Steve sits at her bedside, his eyes fixed on her pale, still face. He has no idea where his wife was going when she crashed. No clue as to why she became distracted behind the wheel. All he knows is that she is his world. And that he wasn’t there when she needed him most.
For the next twelve hours, Steve tells Pippa all the reasons he loves her. But is it too late? Can Pippa find her way back to him?
Gripping, moving and beautifully observed, this is a love story told from both sides.

My Review:
12 Hours to say I Love You is written by multi talented married writing duo Olivia Poulet and Laurence Dobiesz. A tale of two sides, the story begins as Pippa Gallagher is lying unconscious following a car accident. Her husband, Steve, is by her side, not knowing where his wife was going when she crashed. All he knows is that she is his world and that he wasn’t there when she needed him the most.
With Pippa’s life hanging in the balance, Steve begins to tell her all the things he loves about her. But is it too late? Or can Pippa somehow find her way back to him?
The story is told through the eyes of both Pippa and Steve, with the story of their lives slowly unfolding as the book moves forward. Beautifully written, 12 Hours to say I Love You is a gripping and life affirming love story that is in turns both laugh out loud funny and heart wrenchingly moving.
As the reason for Pippa’s distress on the night of her accident is revealed, I found myself not wanting to stop reading, desperate to find out what was going to happen next. I was completely captivated by Pippa and Steve’s story, from their very first meeting right up until the night of the accident. 12 Hours to say I Love You is a beautiful and tender love story that shows what happened from both sides, each character voice coming through loud and clear.
12 Hours to say I Love You is a stunning read that moved me to tears and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I look forward to reading more by Olivia Poulet and Laurence Dobiesz in the future.
