I’m delighted to welcome you today to my stop on the blog tour for gorgeous and uplifting feel good novel Thirty Days in Paris by Veronica Henry. Thank you to Anne Cater and Orion Books for giving me the opportunity to read and review this lovely book.
About the book:

A gorgeous, uplifting and romantic new story set in the city of love from the queen of escapist family drama, Veronica Henry.
Years ago, Juliet left a little piece of her heart in Paris – and now, separated from her husband and with her children having flown the nest, it’s time to get it back!
Donning her best red lipstick, she books a cosy chambre de bonne in the Marais and takes the next train out of London. Juliet plans to spend the next thirty days soaking up the Parisian atmosphere and, after ten years of ghost writing books, finally putting pen to paper for her own story.
Arriving at the Gare du Nord, the memories come flooding back: bustling street cafés, cheap wine in candlelit bars, and a handsome boy with glittering eyes.
But Juliet has also been keeping a secret for over two decades – and for the first time she realises it’s impossible to move forward without first looking back.
Something tells her that the next thirty days might just change everything…

My Review:

Thirty Days in Paris is the gorgeous and uplifting new novel by Veronica Henry. It’s a beautifully written story that instantly transports you to the beautiful city of Paris as, after recently separating from her husband of 25 years, Juliet decides to spend the next thirty days in the place where she once left a little piece of her heart.
Arriving at the Gare Du Nord, memories of the past soon come flooding back as Juliet recalls the Paris she once knew and a handsome boy with glittering eyes. As she strives to make peace with what happened back then and the secret she’s been holding on to for twenty years, Juliet starts to realise that the only way she can even begin to move forward with her life is if she confronts the echoes of her past head on…
Told in both the present day and through flashbacks to the past, Thirty Days in Paris is an entertaining and multilayered story of new beginnings that I thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end. With warm, likable characters who I couldn’t help but fall in love with, Veronica Henry’s writing is as captivating as always as she brings this warm, uplifting and romantic story vividly to life.
With a heartwarming, often moving storyline and a beautiful, atmospheric Parisian setting, there isn’t anything not to love about Thirty Days in Paris.
Pure escapism at its very best!
Highly recommended.
